Biology : Period 4
The focus of this Biology course is student learning through scientific inquiry.  This year long course is structured to address the California Content Standards for Biology and will provide building blocks for lifelong learning as well as many hands-on laboratory experiences.

Final Exams Are Approaching!
It is time to begin studying for your final exams. The Biology Final Exam will test EVERYTHING you have learned (or were supposed to learn) since classes began in August! To help you review, A study guide for the Biology Final has been uploaded to the "Final Exam" folder in the files section below. Please download it, print it out, and answer each question COMPLETELY. If you can answer every question thoroughly, you are prepared for the test!  Be sure to schedule the study time you need for all of your classes over the next 2 weeks. Finals are just around the corner!

Plagiarism is not new & is never okay!

If the words are not yours, neither is the credit. All work turned in for this class must be your own original work as stated in the class syllabus. This includes, but is not limited to essays, reports, quizzes, tests, homework, class work,and any other work submitted for credit. Students who turn in plagiarized work or work that is not their own will recieve a zero on the work in question. The NAHS Accademic Integrity Policy will be strictly enforced; violations will be reported to your counselor and the  school administration.

All of the following are considered plagiarism:

    • Turning in someone else's work as your own.

    • Copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit.

    • Failing to put a quotation in quotation marks.

    • Giving incorrect information about the source of a quotation.

    • Changing words, but copying the sentence structure of a source without giving credit.

    • Copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not.
